LEAGUE OF GIRLS HOCKEY REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN

The Tween Girls’ Hockey League is growing into League of Girls Hockey, and registration for the 2026–27 season is now open.

We’re thrilled to be expanding into Toronto’s east end for the first time, bringing our once-a-week hockey model to even more girls across the GTA.

League of Girls Hockey is designed for girls ages 7–18 who want a hockey experience that feels fun, welcoming and doable, without the pressure of traditional pathways.

Whether your daughter is stepping onto the ice for the first time or already has experience, our program focuses on skill-building, gameplay, confidence and connection in a supportive all-girls environment.

WHY FAMILIES CHOOSE LEAGUE OF GIRLS HOCKEY

  • Once-a-week schedule that fits real life
  • Skill-building + gameplay
  • Beginner-friendly and welcoming to all experience levels
  • No tryouts or pressure to have played before
  • All-female paid coaching staff
  • Fun, supportive environment designed to help girls build confidence on and off the ice
  • A high-quality hockey experience without the multiple weekly practices and travel demands of traditional competitive streams

EQUIPMENT PROVIDED

We believe girls should be able to try hockey without needing to invest in equipment upfront. Whether your daughter needs just a few pieces of equipment or head-to-toe gear, we will work in collaboration with Bauer Hockey and families to ensure players have what they need to participate.

Registration & what's included

Season registration: $1,100

League of Girls Hockey is built differently from many traditional hockey programs. Registration includes:

  • Paid all-female coaches and mentors with strong hockey backgrounds
  • A strong coach-to-player ratio that allows for more individualized instruction
  • Weekly skills instruction and gameplay throughout the season
  • Equipment is provided for all participants in collaboration with Bauer Hockey. Whether a player needs head-to-toe equipment or simply a few pieces to replace outgrown gear, we'll ensure she has what she needs to take the ice with confidence.
  • Payment plans available

Payment options & funding support

We believe more girls should have the opportunity to play hockey.

Interest-free payment plans are available through the registration process, allowing families to spread costs over time.

Families may also wish to explore external funding programs, including:

KidSport
Canadian Tire Jumpstart Individual Child Grants
The Grindstone Award Foundation

Please note that these programs are administered independently and eligibility requirements vary. League of Girls Hockey is not affiliated with these organizations and cannot determine funding decisions.

Bring a friend

Hockey is more fun with friends. If you refer a new player to League of Girls Hockey and they register for the season, both families will be entered into a draw for a $50 Aritzia gift card.
